About Me
I accidentally enrolled in a Computer Science class in High School and thoroughly enjoyed building simple games. Curious about what else this newfound world could offer, I pursued Software Engineering in University. And this time, it was on purpose.
During my time in University, I had the chance to dive deeper into the field and meet some inspiring figures along the way. I helped a non-profit raise funds by providing software solutions; I researched initiatives to explore the integration of NLP tools to improve processes within the canadian public sector; joined a small startup as lead frontend developer to build a short-term furniture subscription solution; pivoted to cloud full-stack development at a pioneer company in the field of event streaming.
I'm now a full-time devops engineer at Ciena where I am supporting talented designers build the next generation of WaveRouter products. I am also tinkering with freelance on the side. When I'm not on my computer, I'm geeking out about the latest tech startup trends, or catching up on my movies and tv shows watch list.
